School visits
Are you interested in showing your students how an Airport works and all its activities?
Companies operating at the airport of Lugano such as Avilu SA, Aeroclub, Lugano Airport and Skyguide will be happy to accompany you on an stimulating training course.
Lugano Airport offers the opportunity to visit its site to elementary, middle and high school students.
Tor book your visit at the airport you should send an e-mail request to pr@luganoairport.ch. Requests must be received at least 15 days before the visit and it will be confirmed by e-mail
It is required the presence of a teacher for every 10 children, the maximum number of participants for each group will have to be evaluated from time to time.
We accept one school visit per month but, subject to availability, if we have already assigned a visit to another school for the requested month, we will suggest you the next available date possible. Appointments are scheduled in chronological order by arrival of applications.
Visits are usually, except for operational commitments, in the morning at 09:00/10:00 with a duration of two hours max.
Thus, we may have the need to cancel your visits without prior notice for operational reasons. In that case, we will contact you to program your visit again as soon as possible.
