Lugano Airport provides a full range of essential handling services for Commercial Aviation, including check-in, dedicated passenger assistance, support for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM), assistance for unaccompanied minors, load control, station control, and support in cases of irregularity, subject to prior notice well in advance

  • Fuel/oil types JET A1, AVGAS 100LL

  • Fueling facilities/capacity: no limitations for all types of ACFT permitted at AD

  • De-icing facilities: Lugano Airport  – Service available from 01NOV to 30APR
    De-icing fluid available: Type II Killfrost ABC K-Plus

  • GSE (Ground service equipment): GPU, ASU, De-fueling, fuel waste disposal, towing or push back, potable water service, toilet service and most of other general airport ramp services

Airport category for firefighting:

  • Category 3 is always granted
  • Category 4 on request 3 hours before ETA/ETD
  • Category 5 and 6 on request preferably 24 hours before ETA/ETD
